Canada Places 3rd at IBS Porto Sant'Elpidio Tournament

After training in the sand for months in preparation for the 2018 Italia Beach Soccer tour… the journey has finally come to an end and the hard work has paid off! The Canada Beach Soccer boys stepped off the plane with some shiny silverware and big smiles after playing their hearts out and representing their country.

Unfortunately, Canada lost to Argentina in the semifinals, thus playing for the third place title. It is an accomplishment to announce that the boys won their final game, ranking 3rd place in the Italia Beach Soccer Porto Sant‘Elpidio tournament… beating out the favorable Brazil! Not only did the boys bring home a Bronze Cup, but for the first time on the IBS tour a Canadian player was awarded the the Golden Boot. Milos Scepanovic #10, was recognized as the leading goal scorer of the tournament.
