As CBS further grows this beautiful game in Canada, it continues to draw the attention of world class players and advocates of beach soccer.
CBS is excited and pleased to announce they have officially signed three outstanding Beach Soccer National Team players, all having an established soccer career within the Canadian system and abroad. We officially welcome Adrian Cann (right), Milos Scepanovic (middle), and Marc Jankovic (left). Something that almost never was, has ended up marking another milestone for Canada Beach Soccer. At the last moment, Canada Beach Soccer decided to compete in the US Beach Soccer National Championship in San Diego, CA. This marks the first time CBS has competed at a beach soccer tournament hosted in the United States and even more exciting they are walking away as CHAMPIONS!
For CBS, 2019 will be a year that goes down in history. Living up to a promise made on national TV, CBS placed 1st at the 2019 IBS Marotta Tournament only 2 years after joining the tour. The cheery on top...the win came from a hard-fought battle against the reigning champions; Italy.
CBS is looking to go all the way this year after coming off a 3rd place finish at the 2018 IBS Porto Sant'Elipidio tournament. Canada looks to build on their last year successes as they enter the beach soccer tour for the third year. Follow their journey as they prepare for the 4 tournament tour on Sky Sports Italia.
CBS and Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club joined forces this summer to help kick off what is beginning to become a familiar sight at Canada Beach Sport's facility in Brampton. The KNSC endured a full training session with CBS's head coach Paolo Ceccareli (former MTL Impact goalkeeper), followed by an afternoon of tournament style beach soccer!
After training in the sand for months in preparation for the 2018 Italia Beach Soccer tour… the journey has finally come to an end and the hard work has paid off! The Canada Beach Soccer boys stepped off the plane with some shiny silverware and big smiles after playing their hearts out and representing their country.
